Traffic at Belgian airports resumed on Wednesday morning after a strike of local air traffic controllers ended though the backlog caused congestion, Brussels International Airport said on its website.
Labour unions and air traffic control operator Skeyes reached an agreement to resume talks, a spokesperson for Skeyes said.
The strike lasted from Monday, 9 p.m. local time, until Tuesday, 9 p.m., the spokesperson said.
The dispute was related to arrangements for a planned "digital air control tower".
The country's main airports in Brussels, Charleroi and Liege were disrupted.
