Catriona Gray to make big screen acting debut in 'The Loved One'

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray is making her highly anticipated acting debut in the Filipino romantic drama "The Loved One," starring alongside seasoned actor Jericho Rosales and television host and actress Anne Curtis.

Catriona's new project was announced on Instagram by her entertainment agency Cornerstone Entertainment.

Cornerstone said, Catriona wil be "bringing a queenly crossover to the film’s highly anticipated release." The film, produced by Cornerstone Studios and Viva Films, is set to hit cinemas on February 11.

The movie is directed by Irene Villamor, one of the most recognized directors in the genre.

While specific details about her character are still under wraps, the movie trailer indicates that Catriona will play a supporting yet significant role as she interacts with the main leads and contributes to the film’s emotional narrative. 

Followers have already expressed enthusiasm for Catriona’s transition into film and for Jericho and Anne’s reunion movie.

Catriona’s appearance in the "The Loved One" trailer has generated excitement online, building anticipation for her first acting performance.

Catriona's profile on the Cornerstone Entertainment website indicates that she is an Ambassador for the Arts of the Philippines' National Commission for Culture and the Arts.  

She is also an advoate for women's rights, quality education amd HIV testing and awareness.
