Dubai has transformed some of its iconic landmarks with festive decorations and events to mark the Christmas season.  

Twinkling lights lined the walkways of Dubai’s Global Village, adding charm to the venue's pavilions which feature food and traditional items from across the world.

In Madinat Jumeirah, people rode on boats as festive music echoed through the air.

The events have attracted residents and tourists alike, who have flocked to the Christmas-themed festivities to celebrate the holiday season.

Nicky Jones, who is currently on holiday in Dubai, said he found the festivities “really beautiful from a Christmas perspective…and with the weather being as nice as it is."
