Connor Storrie joined the likes of Katy Perry and Amanda Seyfried on the carpet at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual A-list gala on Monday (May 4).

The invitation-only Met Gala, renowned for its A-list celebrities and lavish outfits, is a benefit for the Metropolitan Museum of Art and marks the opening of the Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibit.

The theme this year is “Costume Art”, alongside a dress code of “Fashion is Art” to coincide with the Costume Institute's 2026 spring exhibition Costume Art, which opens on May 10.

The exhibition will celebrate the “dressed body” in the museum’s vast collection by pairing paintings, sculptures and other objects in the Costume Institute.

The display will also focus on thematic body types loosely divided into three categories: bodies in art like the classical and nude body, overlooked bodies like ageing and pregnant bodies, and more universal ones like the anatomical body.

This year's co-chairs include Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman and Venus Williams, with Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Bezos serving as honorary co-chairs.
