JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith are set to star in the iWant micro-series “Will You Fake Marry Me?” where the two will navigate a fixed marriage that may eventually turn into real love.


The streaming platform officially announced the romantic series on its social media pages, releasing first-look photos of the cast, which also includes Karina Bautista, Miguel Vergara, Alyssa Muhlach, and Matet de Leon.


“First comes the marriage. Then comes… love? I do na agad sa feels!” iWant wrote in its caption as it introduced the first-ever micro-series project of JM and Fyang together.


While no exact date has been announced, the platform confirmed that the series will be streaming soon. Fans shared their excitement online following the announcement.


“Will You Fake Marry Me?” is directed by Jojo Saguin, the filmmaker behind well-known series such as “On the Wings of Love,” “Doble Kara,” “Lavender Fields,” “The Alibi,” and “Love Is Never Gone.”


Before this project, JM, 25, and Fyang, 20, first worked together in the 2025 series “Ghosting,” which also streamed on iWant. Their solo movie “Almost Us” is currently in its third week in cinemas.


JMFyang continues to be one of the most popular "love teams," having strong chemistry across different genres including romance, horror and drama. They previously showcased this in “Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins” and “Love Is Never Gone,” where they are currently appearing.
