Miguel Tanfelix stuns viewers with action scenes in ‘Taskforce Firewall’

Viewers were amazed after watching Miguel Tanfelix’s action sequence in “Taskforce Firewall"  which Miguel himself posted online. Netizens were in awe at the intense three-minute fight scene especially because Miguel is known to do mostly drama and fantasy roles.

Miguel's filmography includes romance, fantasy and sci-fi projects like “Voltes V: Legacy,” “Encantadia,” and “Mulawin,” along with drama titles such as “Firefly” and “Niño.”

Fans were quick to react, with many praising the sharpness and speed of his movements. Some even compared his performance to international action stars, with comments like “Parang si Tom Cruise and acting-an ni Miguel,” “Galawang John Wick,” and “Galing ni Miguel akala ko International.” 

Others also pointed out how impressive his physical control was, saying his speed, agility, and overall execution made the scene stand out.

Miguel explained that each fight scene carries more impact because of the dedication of the crew working behind the camera. He also expressed his gratitude to the show's production team. 

Aside from the action scene, the 27-year-old actor also posted behind-the-scenes clips and photos showing him doing his own stunts.

In the series, Miguel plays Galo Villareal, a former soldier dealing with trauma from his military past. The character required him to balance intense physical action scenes with the emotional weight of someone still recovering from what he went through.

The new action-drama series also stars Kylie Padilla and premiered on May 25 on GMA, marking Miguel’s first major project which focused heavily on hardcore action and tactical combat.

"Taskforce Firewall" is directed by Rico Gutierrez, known for “Agimat ng Agila,” “Running Man Philippines,” and “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre.” 

The cast includes Jak Roberto, Kyline Alcantara, Buboy Villar, Shayne Sava, Lexi Gonzales, Luis Hontiveros, and Yasmien Kurdi.
