From extravagant weddings to shocking splits: A look back at the biggest celebrity relationships of the year.
A lavish wedding in Venice, a major engagement and shock splits - this year saw plenty of headlines about celebrities' personal lives.
WEDDINGS
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and journalist Lauren Sanchez married in a three-day wedding extravaganza in Venice, that drew dozens of stars to the picturesque lagoon city but also protests by local activists.
Bill Gates, Leonardo DiCaprio, Orlando Bloom, Tom Brady, Jordan's Queen Rania, Oprah Winfrey, Kris Jenner and Kim and Khloe Kardashian, as well as Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner were among the A-listers present at what was dubbed the "Wedding of the Century".
The wedding celebrations for 200-250 guests were estimated to have cost some $50 million.
The ceremony had no legal status under Italian law, a senior city hall official told Reuters, suggesting Bezos, 61, and Sanchez, 55, may have previously wed legally in the United States to avoid the bureaucracy associated with an Italian marriage.
While some residents and activists raged against Bezos as a symbol of inequality and arrogance, Venetian businesses and political leaders welcomed the luxury nuptials, hailing them as major boost for the local economy.
Singer and actor Selena Gomez tied the knot with music producer Benny Blanco, with the couple exchanging their vows in a ceremony in Santa Barbara, California.

Fourteen-time Grammy winner Swift and Kelce, who is a tight end who has helped the Chiefs win three Super Bowls, started dating in 2023 after the singer performed at Arrowhead Stadium - home of the Chiefs.
Kelce explained on the "New Heights" podcast at the time that he was disappointed he did not have a chance to meet her and give her his phone number at the show.
Swift was charmed by the public declaration of interest. The gesture made her feel like she was "in an '80s John Hughes movie, and he was just like, standing outside of my window with a boombox and being like, 'I want to date you,'" she said on another "New Heights" episode.
Companies also acknowledged the milestone. Google added an on-screen shower of confetti when people searched for Swift by name. Buffalo Wild Wings, which has used Jason Kelce as a paid spokesperson, offered to cater the wedding.
