Tiger Woods will miss Jupiter Links' TGL semifinal matchup against Boston Common, leaving his participation in the indoor league’s second season uncertain. The 15-time major champion has been sidelined since undergoing his seventh back procedure in October.

One of his TGL co-founders, Rory McIlroy, confirmed he will play for Boston Common on Tuesday, ending speculation following his tie for 46th at The Players Championship on Sunday. McIlroy has been managing a back spasm that forced him to withdraw from the Arnold Palmer Invitational two weeks ago.

Jupiter Links will field Max Homa, Akshay Bhatia, and Tom Kim, who will face McIlroy, Keegan Bradley, and Adam Scott at 9 p.m. ET at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The match follows the first semifinal at 6:30 p.m. between defending champion Atlanta Drive and Los Angeles Golf Club.

Atlanta will play without Justin Thomas, who is resting after back surgery and consecutive tournaments following a four-month layoff. Los Angeles will also be without Collin Morikawa, who withdrew before the first round of The Players due to a back injury.

Atlanta’s lineup features Patrick Cantlay, Chris Gotterup, and Billy Horschel, while L.A. will send Tommy Fleetwood, Sahith Theegala, and Justin Rose to the course.

The best-of-three finals, beginning March 23, mark the last potential chance for Woods to compete with his team this season.

Woods, 50, has not confirmed whether he will attempt to play in the Masters next month. Reports circulated over the weekend of his private plane being spotted at Augusta Regional Airport, raising speculation that he might make an appearance for Jupiter Links.

Woods also underwent surgery for a torn Achilles in March 2025 and has not competed since the 2024 PNC Championship with his son, Charlie. His last PGA Tour event was the 2024 Open Championship.
