However, the Blazers came roaring back, capped by a 7-0 run and a layup from Jrue Holiday with 2:02 left to take the lead. Holiday finished with 16 points and nine assists, while Deni Avdija added 14 points.
San Antonio was led by Stephon Castle, who scored 18 points. The Spurs also got 17 points from De'Aaron Fox and a double-double from Devin Vassell (16 points, 12 rebounds). LeBron James turned in a strong performance with 28 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists, helping the Los Angeles Lakers to a 101-94 win over the Houston Rockets. The victory gave the Lakers a 2-0 lead in their first-round Western Conference playoff series.
Marcus Smart stepped up in the absence of Luka Doncic (hamstring) and Austin Reaves (oblique), scoring 25 points and shooting 5-of-7 from beyond the arc. Luke Kennard, who was the hero in Game 1, contributed 23 points, including three 3-pointers. In a crucial Game 2, the Philadelphia 76ers bounced back with a 111-97 win over the Boston Celtics, evening their Eastern Conference playoff series at 1-1. VJ Edgecombe and Tyrese Maxey combined to hit 11 3-pointers and score 59 points as the 76ers overcame a disappointing Game 1 performance.

Despite Jaylen Brown's game-high 36 points and Jayson Tatum's 19 points and 14 rebounds, the Celtics couldn't find offensive consistency, as no other player scored in double figures.
The Celtics had dominated in Game 1, with all five starters reaching double figures in scoring, but the Sixers bounced back to secure the crucial road win. Game 3 of this series will be held in Philadelphia.
