NBA: Pistons' Cade Cunningham out at least one more week
Detroit Pistons All-Star Cade Cunningham will be re-evaluated in a week as he recovers from a collapsed left lung, potentially missing enough games to affect his award eligibility. The 24-year-old guard has averaged 24.5 points, 9.9 assists, and 5.6 rebounds this season.

Detroit Pistons All-Star guard Cade Cunningham will be re-evaluated in one week as he continues his recovery from a collapsed left lung, the team announced Thursday.
Cunningham has missed eight games since suffering the injury on March 17 in a matchup against the Washington Wizards.
The Pistons are scheduled to play four more games without him, which would prevent Cunningham from reaching the 65-game threshold needed to qualify for end-of-season awards. He has played in 61 games this season, leaving only two games remaining if the current timeline holds.
The NBA playoffs are set to begin on April 18.
Cunningham, 24, is averaging 24.5 points, 9.9 assists, and 5.6 rebounds this season. A two-time All-Star, he has career averages of 22.6 points, 7.9 assists, and 5.4 rebounds across 269 games—all starts—since being selected first overall by the Pistons in the 2021 NBA Draft.
