Several notable college basketball players have announced their transfer plans, reshaping team rosters across the country. Among the big names making waves this offseason are Acaden Lewis, KJ Lewis, and others, all hoping to make an impact at their new schools.

Acaden Lewis, one of the most sought-after guards in the transfer portal, confirmed on Tuesday that he will transfer from Villanova to Miami. Lewis, a left-handed point guard, averaged 12.2 points, 5.3 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.9 steals per game during his time at Villanova. He was also named to the second-team All-Big East and voted to the All-Freshman Team. Lewis had an impressive 14-point, 12-assist performance in the regular-season finale, helping his team secure a win over Xavier. After decommitting from Kentucky last spring and choosing Villanova over Miami, Lewis now seeks to bring his talents to the Hurricanes under head coach Jai Lucas, who led the team to a 26-9 record in the previous season. Miami reached the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament before falling to Purdue. Lewis has also declared for the NBA draft while entering the transfer portal.

KJ Lewis is also on the move, heading west to Southern California after a one-year stint at Georgetown. Lewis transferred to Georgetown from Arizona and had an impressive season, averaging 14.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.1 steals per game. The guard, who started all 27 games he played for the Hoyas, looks to make an impact in Southern California's program as he continues his college career.

In other transfer news, Memphis secured two big names for the upcoming season. Brandin Cummings, a former guard at Pitt, announced his commitment to the Tigers after two solid seasons, including 12.5 points per game. Memphis also landed sharpshooter Rihards Vavers from Washington State. Vavers, who hails from Latvia, shot 41.2% from beyond the arc last season and is known for his 3-point shooting prowess.

West Virginia has added former Georgia Tech center Mouhamed Sylla and former Butler guard Finley Bizjack to its roster. Sylla, a 6-foot-10 center from Senegal, averaged 9.6 points and 7.2 rebounds during his freshman season, while Bizjack was a standout at Butler, averaging 17.1 points per game. His 42.6% shooting from the field earned him a spot on the All-Big East third team.

Missouri also made a significant addition, securing forward Jamier Jones from Providence. Jones, who averaged 11.9 points and 4.5 rebounds in his freshman season, brings solid scoring and efficiency to the Tigers' lineup.

Indiana made a major move by gaining a commitment from SMU center Samet Yigitoglu, who averaged 10.7 points and 7.9 rebounds last season. Yigitoglu, who stands 7-foot-2, joins a talented group of players that includes guards Markus Burton (Notre Dame), Darren Harris (Duke), and Jaeden Mustaf (Georgia Tech), all of whom have committed to Indiana recently.

Houston landed one of the most high-profile transfers of the offseason in Corey Hadnot II from Purdue Fort Wayne. Hadnot was a first-team All-Horizon League selection, leading the conference with 20.4 points per game and contributing 4.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists. The high-scoring guard brings a scoring punch to Houston's already strong roster.

Furman forward Cooper Bowser is also on the move, transferring to Arkansas after an outstanding season where he averaged 13.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game. Bowser’s efficient scoring and ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor should be a major boost to Arkansas’s lineup.

Finally, guard Wes Enis will head to Creighton after an impressive freshman year at South Florida. Enis averaged 16.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game while shooting 35.2% from beyond the arc. His high-scoring performances, including several 20-point games, make him one of the most exciting transfers in the country this offseason.

With players looking to take their careers to the next level, these moves are just the beginning of what promises to be an exciting college basketball season ahead.
