Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt’s daughter Shiloh joins K-pop singer Dayoung’s music video

Shiloh Jolie, the daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, is stepping into the music world as she debuts in a K-pop music video.

When the teaser of the song by Korean singer Dayoung, a member of K-pop girl group WJSN, dropped, social media quickly exploded. A fan said, “I’m here for Shiloh Jolie,” while many cheered her name online.

Italian actress and journalist Claudia Tosoni also chimed in, “The only thing I can see is the beauty of Shiloh Jolie Pitt. Perfect mix between mum and dad.”

Starship Entertainment recently released the teaser on Instagram for Dayoung’s upcoming single, “What’s a Girl to Do,” and Shiloh can be seen in a dance sequence and in a brief close-up shot.

In the short clip, she appears around the 16-second mark. Shiloh, 19, sports slicked-back hair, a lacy brown top, and hoop earrings. She sits in a relaxed, effortless pose with a subtle rebellious edge, highlighted by her lip piercing.

According to Maeil Business, a representative from Starship Entertainment explained that they held an open audition in the United States for the cast of Dayoung's music video. Shiloh stood out in the final round and was selected. 

The representative admitted that even after filming, the team “had no idea she was the child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and only found out by chance quite recently.”

Shiloh Jolie may be new to the spotlight, but she’s no stranger to dancing. She has shared her talent online for years and earning praise from choreographers and fans alike. 

In May 2024, People.com reported that choreographer Lil Kelaan Carter posted a video of her performing solo in a studio to the song “Tanzania” by Uncle Waffles and Tony Duardo. Back in June 2022, she also appeared in a YouTube video dancing alongside other performers at Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles to Doja Cat’s “Vegas.”

Aside from dancing, Shiloh has experience in voice acting, including voicing Shuai Shuai in the animated comedy film Kung Fu Panda 3.

Shiloh is one of six children shared by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The rest are Maddox, Pax Thien, Zahara,  and twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Léon.

Dayoung’s second digital single, “What’s a Girl to Do,” will be available on major music streaming platforms at 6 p.m. KST tomorrow, April 7.
