Anne Hathaway is giving her fans a year to remember with an exciting lineup of projects in 2026.

Leading the list is "Mother Mary," a musical drama and thriller movie directed by David Lowery, known for "The Green Knight" and "A Ghost Story," according to British magazine website i-D.

The film also features Michaela Coel, Hunter Schafer, Kaia Gerber, Alba Baptista, Jessica Brown-Findlay and Sian Clifford.

Following this highly anticipated release, Hathaway will return to one of her most iconic roles in "The Devil Wears Prada 2," which is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2026.

The sequel reunites her with original cast members Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci, while expanding its cast with new characters including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak, and Conrad Ricamora, as noted on IMDb.

Although there have been rumors about "The Housemaid" star Sydney Sweeney joining the cast, her involvement has not been officially confirmed.

While her name has appeared on some circulating cast lists and she has been spotted on set, these reports have yet to be confirmed by the studio.

A teaser trailer, with Madonna’s Vogue as background music, has already stirred excitement among fans.

In July, Hathaway will star in The Odyssey, a modern reimagining of Homer’s epic directed by Christopher Nolan, according to India Today Entertainment. The film is expected to arrive in theaters on July 17, 2026, and is described as a large-scale cinematic project featuring Hathaway as part of a top cast.

Times of India confirms she will be joined by acclaimed actors Robert Pattinson, Tom Holland, and Zendaya. The adaptation is expected to merge classical storytelling with modern cinematic style.

Hathaway will also lead the psychological thriller Verity, based on Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel. Co-starring Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett.

Deadline reveals that the film follows Lowen Ashleigh (Johnson), who is hired as a ghostwriter for acclaimed author Verity Crawford (Hathaway).

Her assignment takes a dark turn when she uncovers Verity’s chilling autobiographical notes. The film is scheduled for release on October 2.

Along with her upcoming films, Hathaway will return to television with the limited series Fear Not on Paramount+. She will portray Margy Palm, the Texas woman who became the final abductee of a notorious serial killer.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series is based on a real story and is set to premiere in 2027.

With major projects on the horizon, Hathaway is set to dominate screens in 2026, reaffirming her place as one of Hollywood’s A-list stars.
