Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny drew massive attention after abruptly deleting all of his Instagram posts just hours after his high-profile performance at Super Bowl LX halftime show.
With more than 50 million followers in his social media list, the move immediately stood out as both unexpected and deliberate.
According to Fox News, following his appearance on one of the world’s biggest stages at Levi’s Stadium on Sunday, the Puerto Rican artist deleted his Instagram feed entirely, removed his profile photo, and left his following list empty.
The only thing left behind was a link to his Grammy-awarded album.
The sudden online silence sparked widespread speculation about his future plans.
While Bad Bunny, 31 has not released an official statement explaining the decision, many of his 53 million followers and fans believe the digital reset could signal an upcoming project or major announcement.
Others see it as part of a broader “rebranding" rather than a reaction to the Super Bowl performance itself. Regardless of the reason, deleting all posts at the height of attention is a bold move.
Before wiping out his Instagram, Bad Bunny delivered a vibrant halftime performance.
Dressed in all white, he opened with “Titi Me Preguntó” with dancers filling the stadium. The performance was widely praised, though some critics (including President Donald Trump) expressed disagreement.
According to BBC, Trump was not present at the Super Bowl but he announced that the show “absolutely terrible, one of the worst ever” on Truth Social, adding that it was “an affront to the Greatness of America” and that “nobody understands a word this guy is saying.”
Despite the reactions, Bad Bunny didn’t use any explicit political statements during his appearance.
However, this is not the first time Bad Bunny has taken such an approach. In 2022, he also cleared his Instagram account, following his move onto TikTok.
Even without a direct statement from the artist, the deleted Instagram feed became intertwined with the broader discussion surrounding the halftime show.
People interpreted the move as a digital reset, reinforcing the idea that sometimes absence can speak louder than words.
