BGYO's Gelo Rivera releases international single with Vietnamese singer-songwriter Vũ Thảo My

Gelo Rivera of the P-pop group BGYO  collaborated with Vietnamese singer-songwriter Vũ Thảo My on a new single titled “Zealous (Gã Săn Mồi),” released on April 21.

This partnership marks Gelo's first solo international collab.

The song was first teased on April 17 through BGYO’s social media, which included a side-profile shot of Gelo and hinted at "something special."

The Vietnamese version of the track, along with its official music video, was released on April 21. An English version of the music video is set to drop on April 24 across major streaming platforms.

The English audio version has been released, and ACEs fans have already shown their support. One fan commented, "Ganda ng English version."

Zealous (Gã Săn Mồi) features both artists’ styles, combining Gelo’s vocals and stage presence with Thảo My’s voice and artistic style. 

The track blends elements of P-pop and V-pop in a cross-cultural collaboration.  Thảo My served as a co-writer for the track. The music video was filmed in Binh, Vietnam.

Gelo, 25, continues to expand his career locally and internationally. Aside from music, he has also ventured into acting, debuting in film adaptation of Wattpad story “The Four Bad Boys and Me” and starring in the romantic microdrama series “The Chambermaid’s Daughter,” set to premiere on April 30.

Meanwhile, Vũ Thảo My, 28, continues to establish herself as R&B artist after winning “The Voice Vietnam” in 2013 at age 16, where she became the youngest champion, further strengthening her presence in the Southeast Asian music scene.
