BTS’ comeback album 'Arirang' sells 3.98 million copies on first day

Namdaemun, officially called  Sungnyemun, or the "Great South Gate", is illuminated with a logo of Kpop boy band BTS ahead of the band's upcoming free comeback concert, "BTS The Comeback Live Arirang", their first performance in more than three years since completing mandatory military service, in Seoul, South Korea, March 20, 2026.

Big Hit Music, the music label run by BTS' management agency HYBE 352820.KS, said on Saturday the South Korean boy band's new comeback album "Arirang" sold 3.98 million copies on its first day of release.
