Charlie Puth and wife Brooke Sansone welcome first child

Charlie Puth enters fatherhood.

The American singer-songwriter and his wife, Brooke Sansone, recently welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Jude, born on March 13, 2026.

They shared the news in a joint Instagram post last Monday, March 23, with the simple caption, “Hey Jude,” a reference to the iconic song by The Beatles.

The couple’s post gave fans a glimpse into their first days as parents. It included cozy, intimate moments of their newborn both in the hospital and at home—their son lying peacefully in his bassinet, being fed by Charlie, and held gently in Brooke’s arms. 

They also shared Polaroid snapshots capturing those early memories, along with little handwritten notes: “He drank over 30ml of formula! A new record.”

According to Vogue, Charlie, 34, and Brooke, 26, began dating in June 2022. He proposed in September 2023 during an intimate night in New York City, and they got married a year later in September 2024 at his family’s home in Montecito, California.

Charlie confirmed they were expecting their first child during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where he teased, “We’re expecting a baby in March. I’m gonna be a Dad. I hope the baby likes music because it’s the only thing I’m good at.”

He also hinted at the pregnancy in his music video. Back in October, the singer-songwriter announced that he and his wife were expecting their first child, revealing the news through a clip from the music video for his song Changes.

In the clip, Charlie Puth stands beside his wife, Brooke Sansone, who is dressed in a red sweater with her hands resting on her stomach. He then places his hands over hers, smiling warmly at her before the two walk away together.

Alongside this major life update, Charlie has a busy few months ahead. His upcoming album, Whatever’s Clever, is set to drop on March 27.

He will also be heading out on a world tour starting April 22, running until July. As of now, North American and European dates are confirmed, with no Philippines stops announced yet.
