Canadian singer-songwriter Daniel Caesar is returning to the Philippines. Manila will be one of the stops on his “Son of Spergy” 2026 world tour. He is set to perform at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on May 19.

Caesar, whose real name is Ashton Simmonds, shared the tour schedule on his Instagram page last Wednesday, April 1. "Son Of Spergy Tour 2026. North America on sale this Friday @ 10am local. Link in bio for early access. Asia check local listings for pre-sale and on-sale info," he wrote in the caption.

The "Son of Spergy" tour, named after his fourth studio album, will kick off in Singapore, then go to Manila, and then to other Asian cities. The tour then goes to Canada before ending up in the United States.

The Asian leg will have stops also in Malaysia, South Korea, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand. American singer Faye Webster will join him as a special guest. Ticket details are not yet available.

The upcoming tour will mark Caesar’s fourth visit to the Philippines. He first performed at the Wanderland Music and Arts Festival in 2018, followed by solo concerts during the Case Study 01 Tour in 2019, and the Superpowers World Tour in 2023.

In October 2025, Caesar released his fourth studio album, Son of Spergy. Containing 12 songs, the album blends introspective R&B and gospel influences. Key tracks include “Rain Down,” “Have a Baby (With Me),” “Call On Me,” and “Who Knows.”

Daniel Caesar is best known for his hits like “Get You,” “Superpower,” and “Best Part.”
