Star Cinema announced the highly anticipated DonBelle reunion through its official social media platforms, revealing that the pair will star together in an upcoming film set for release in 2026.

The announcement quickly gained attention online, with fans celebrating the return of one of today’s most popular leading pairs.

Along with the announcement, Star Cinema shared sweet photos of Donny and Belle together, highlighting their undeniable chemistry.

While key details such as the film’s title, storyline, and supporting cast have yet to be revealed, the two stars offered exciting hints during an interview following their performance on a Sunday variety show.

Donny shared that the project has been in development for quite some time.

“We've been working together for quite some time. So, I think this specific project is going to be very special for the both of us.”

Belle described the film as an exciting and unexpected comeback for the pair.

“Yeah, we're so excited. Para ngang comeback natin, ‘di ba? We're really excited. And you know, the story was told to us. It really is unexpected. Ayan lang masasabi ko.”

When asked what audiences can expect from the upcoming movie, Donny highlighted the growth they have both experienced as artists and as a pair over the years.

“ Because we've gone through so many things, me and Belle. It's our sixth year of Donbelle together, and we've done so many projects. For sure, they're gonna see a more mature side to the both of us.”

Belle agreed, confirming that the project will offer something fresh and different for viewers.

“Definitely, ang dami talagang aabangan. The story, everything, it's really something new.”

The interview concluded on a sincere note when the two were asked what they are most grateful for.

“Super grateful for [our] family,” Donny said.

“Our supporters,” Belle added, with Donny immediately affirming. She continued, “Iba talaga yung saya na binibigay nila sa amin. And now seeing them here while we're performing on stage iba pa rin talaga yung feels when they're there with us.”

Beyond their reunion project, both stars remain busy with individual work. Donny Pangilinan, 27, is currently seen in the ongoing action drama series Roja, where he stars alongside singer-actor Kyle Echarri.

He is also set to celebrate his birthday next week on February 10.

Meanwhile, Belle Mariano, 23, was last seen in the family drama film Meet, Greet & Bye with veteran actors Piolo Pascual and Maricel Soriano.

Aside from acting, Belle continues to juggle multiple endorsements and her growing beauty brand, Talee. Their last projects together were the rom-com film An Inconvenient Love and the romance drama series Can’t Buy Me Love.

Although no exact release date has been announced, the DonBelle comeback film is confirmed to premiere in 2026.

With romance at its core and a more mature portrayal of the beloved love team, the project marks a meaningful new chapter that fans are more than ready to support.
