Go Youn Jung, Koo Kyo Hwan star in new K-Drama 'We Are All Trying Here'

Korean network JTBC’s upcoming drama "We Are All Trying Here" will premiere on Netflix on April 18. The show brings together acclaimed actors Go Youn Jung and Koo Kyo Hwan.


"We Are All Trying Here" follows Hwang Dong Man (Koo Kyo Hwan), an aspiring director who feels left behind as he watches his friends succeed. Struggling with envy, frustration, and self-doubt, he embarks on a journey to find peace and direction in his life. 


Byeon Eun A (Go Youn Jung) is as a producer who becomes a part of his journey. This series marks their first project together.


The series is directed by Cha Young Hoon (Welcome to Samdal-ri) and written by Park Hae Young (My Liberation Notes). Other cast members include Oh Jung Se, Kang Mal Geum, and Park Hae Joon.


Koo Kyo Hwan has built a diverse filmography in both film and television. He has appeared in Netflix titles such as "Peninsula"," D.P.", and "Parasyte: The Grey." 


He has worked alongside Jung Hae In in "D.P.", where viewers saw their on-screen chemistry, and Jeon Do Yeon in the film "Kill Boksoon."


Go Youn Jung has steadily built her reputation through a range of roles across fantasy, thriller, and romance dramas. She gained recognition in  "Sweet Home" and "Law School." Her other films and series include "Moving", "Alchemy of Souls," "Resident Playbook," and "Can This Love Be Translated." 


The drama, which has a total of 12 episodes, airs new episodes every Saturday and Sunday.
