Jaehyun of Korean boy band NCT has officially completed his mandatory military service after being discharged from the Army military band on May 3.
NCT’s official social media accounts shared photos of Jaehyun, 29, including one photo with fellow member Jungwoo, 28, who is currently serving in the military.
NCTzens also gathered at the discharge site to welcome him back, as Jaehyun warmly greeted fans while holding flowers. He enlisted on November 4, 2024, and spent the remainder of his service period fulfilling his duties in the military band following basic training.
Jaehyun, real name Jeong Yun-o, is now the second member of NCT to finish military service, after leader Taeyong, who completed his military duties in December 2025. Meanwhile, Doyoung and Jungwoo remain enlisted and are anticipated to be discharged in 2027.
Shortly after his discharge, NCT’s official Instagram announced Jaehyun’s 2026 fan-con tour titled “Mono”, starting in Seoul on June 6–7, 2026 with stops in Macau, Jakarta, Bangkok, and Taipei. The tour marks his first major post-service event.
Since debuting in 2016, Jaehyun has been active across multiple NCT units, including NCT 127, NCT U, and NCT DoJaeJung.
His 2024 debut solo album "J," featured the hip-hop R&B title track “Smoke,” which established his solo career alongside his career as a member of NCT.
