Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz are back for dark comedy flick 'Outcome'

Nearly 30 years after "Feeling Minnesota," Keanu Reeves and Cameron Diaz are reuniting in a dark comedy film.

Reeves and Diaz were at the world premiere of their new movie "Outcome" at the AMC Lincoln Square in New York City, along with director and actor Jonah Hill and other cast members.

According to People.com, Diaz, 53, shared that she was surprised Reeves didn’t remember their special handshake from back then. “The handshake dates back to when Reeves and Diaz worked together on Feeling Minnesota in 1996. 

“We just would have a whole thing where we were like—high five, down low and then like a couple kicks on the feet, you know?" Diaz said. Reeves, 61, on the other hand, briefly described reuniting with Diaz as “all awesome.”

The official trailer for "Outcome" was released on March 17 by Apple TV, giving fans their first extended look at the movie. The streaming service also unveiled a poster featuring Reeves at the center, with the rest of the cast members’ names arranged around him.

According to the official synopsis, "Outcome" follows Reef Hawk (Reeves), a beloved Hollywood star who must confront his past mistakes after being blackmailed with a mysterious video that could ruin his image and end his career.

With the help of his lifelong friends Kyle (Diaz) and Xander (Matt Bomer), along with his lawyer Ira (Hill), Reef embarks on a soul‑searching journey to make amends with everyone he might have wronged while trying to uncover the blackmailer.

Jonah Hill serves multiple roles in the film as director, co-writer, producer, and actor. Other cast members include David Spade, Susan Lucci, Ivy Wolk, Laverne Cox, Roy Wood Jr., Atsuko Okatsuka and more.

"50 First Dates" actress Drew Barrymore is also listed in the cast and makes a brief appearance in the trailer. "Outcome" will be available for streaming on Apple TV starting April 10.
