Kris Aquino's wish on her 55th birthday: reach 60 and have PWD, senior cards

Kris Aquino is celebrating her 55th birthday today, Valentine's Day. 

On her Instagram account, 'The Queen of All Media' said her birthday wish is to "reach 60 so I'll have both a PWD (Person with Disability) and a senior citizen's card."

The former actress, host and endorser has, for years, been battling autoimmune diseases among others which have restricted her mobility and has taken much toll on her body. 

On Instagram, she gives her followers a positive health update. "I'm now able to walk unaided and seldom do I ask for my wheelchair," she confided on her  post on February 12. 

"Hopefully 5 weeks after the last of my stitches are removed i'll start producing 'immunity cells' because right now i am severly immunocompromised," she added.

In an Instagram post on Janury 14, Aquino said she had an operation where "there was a span of time totaling almost 2 minutes when my lung stopped functioning- i stopped breathing."

As Aquino's health appears to have improved, she gives her followers a short teaser without elaborating further. "I'll be coproducing my oncam podcast." 

Aquino, who has a following of 5.5 million on Facebook and 4.9 million on Instagram,  might not only be  embarking on a career comeback. She could also be having a  resurgence on her health as well.
