Pop star Lady Gaga cancelled the last day of her concert in the Montreal stop of The Mayhem Ball tour , due to a health issue.

The 40-year-old singer announced the cancellation on Instagram Stories last Monday, explaining that her doctor advised her to skip performing.

“I’m so sorry to share that I’m unable to perform tonight and have to cancel the show. I've been fighting a respiratory infection for the past few days and doing everything I can to rest and recover, but it’s gotten worse,” Gaga wrote.

She further explained, “My doctor has strongly advised me not to perform today and to be honest I don't think I could give you the quality of a performance today that you deserve. I know how deeply disappointing this is. And I truly could not feel worse about letting you down."

Gaga expressed her regret over the cancellation, saying, “I’m so sorry to everyone who made plans to be there and support me. Being in Montreal and performing for you on Thursday and Friday was magical and deeply meaningful.” She added that she felt bad for those who were supposed to attend the show.

Gaga began her Mayhem Ball tour in Las Vegas in July 2025 and had already performed two shows in Montreal on April 2 and 3. Once her Canadian shows wrapped up, she has three remaining dates: two in Saint Paul, Minnesota, on April 9 and 10, and one at Madison Square Garden in New York City on April 13, where the tour is set to conclude.

According to People.com, this isn’t the first time Gaga’s tour plans have changed. She previously postponed and rescheduled her Miami show at the Kaseya Center because of vocal strain.
