Season Two of the action-drama series Bloodhounds is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on April 3. The  series’ leads, Korean actors Lee Sang-yi and Woo Do-hwan, released a teaser video ahead of the new season.

Netflix wrote in the caption, “Which take throws the best punch? So ready to see Gun-woo and Woo-jin return in Bloodhounds Season 2.”

In the clip, both actors wore boxing gloves and were surrounded by boxes. In the first take, Lee Sang-yi and Woo Do-hwan shouted, “Hang on, my foot is stuck! Wait a second. I can’t get out! This is way too funny. I’m really sorry… I can’t… I’m really sorry,” Sang-yi said, as the two laughed while moving around the scattered boxes.

In the second take, the boxes were arranged neatly. Do-hwan and Sang-yi punched and kicked the boxes while delivering the show announcements. Do-hwan said, “It’s finally here! Watch Bloodhounds Season 2,” while Sang-yi added, “April 3, on Netflix.” Both continued laughing during the take.

The season one of Bloodhounds, which aired in 2023, followed two young boxers—Kim Geonn‑woo (played by Woo Do‑hwan) and Hong Woo‑jin (played by Lee Sang‑yi)—who become involved in the world of loan sharks.

Gun-woo plays a promising fighter supporting his family, while Woo-jin is a former marine seeking a new path. The two work together to confront a dangerous criminal organization while navigating intense challenges.

Season two will continue where the first season ended, with both actors reprising their roles. The official trailer for the series was released earlier in March.

Hallyu Wave singer and actor Rain (Jung Ji-hoon) joins the cast as a villain, whose character has been much-anticipated. Super Junior member and actor Choi Siwon is also confirmed to reprise his role and appears in the official trailer.

Woo Do-hwan gained recognition through dramas such as Tempted, Save Me, Mr. Plankton, and The King: Eternal Monarch.

Meanwhile, Lee Sang-yi is an actor and singer who has built a reputation in television dramas and musical theater, with notable roles in Youth of May, Once Again, and Good Boy.
