Netflix has finalized a deal to exclusively stream the NFL Honors ceremony in 2027, the streaming service confirmed Wednesday.
The NFL’s annual awards event, held during Super Bowl week, has traditionally aired on NFL Network and the year’s Super Bowl rights partner. Under the new arrangement, Netflix will become the ceremony’s exclusive broadcast partner, following a February 2026 primetime broadcast on NBC that drew an estimated 3.7 million viewers.
The agreement is part of a revised deal between the NFL and Netflix, which now runs through the 2029 season.
In addition to the Honors ceremony, Netflix will feature five games in its 2026 game inventory, including its third consecutive Christmas Day doubleheader.
The NFL also announced Wednesday that the Los Angeles Rams will host the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving Eve (Nov. 25) on Netflix. This follows a previous announcement that the Rams’ season opener against the San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne, Australia, on Sept. 10 will also air on the streaming platform. Netflix will additionally broadcast a final-week game with playoff implications.
