Park Bo-gum and Suzy are reuniting as hosts of the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards. The event is an annual ceremony honoring achievements across South Korea’s entertainment industry.

According to Soompi, their participation was confirmed on April 2, marking the eighth time they have hosted together.

The event will take place at COEX D Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, starting at 7:50 p.m. KST (Korea Standard Time) on May 8.

This will be Suzy's 11th consecutive year as host. The Start-Up actress first hosted  the 52nd edition in 2016. Since then, Suzy has hosted the awards show every year.

Park Bo-gum, on the other hand, first hosted the awards on its 54th year. He has hosted a total of eight editions, missing only the 57th during his military service. He returned for the 58th ceremony as his first official activity after discharge. It will be his fifth consecutive year as host.

Suzy and Bo-gum will also be joined by veteran host and comedian Shin Dong-yup, 55, who will be hosting the event for the 12th time. In June 2024, Bo-gum and Suzy starred together in the sci-fi romance film Wonderland.

The 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards will also feature a new musical category, alongside TV, film, and theater. According to Maeil Business, nominee details will be announced on the official website and social media on April 13, and the ceremony will be broadcast live on JTBC-affiliated channels.
