Rob Deniel drops new single 'Star Song' ahead of first-ever solo concert

Rob Deniel surprised fans as he released his new single, “Star Song” just after midnight on Friday (January 30, 2026). 

The song is part of his upcoming album, set to be released a day before Valentine’s Day on February 13.

Adding to the excitement, Rob Deniel is also preparing for his first-ever solo concert on February 27. 

The Rob Deniel Show will feature special performances from fellow artists Adie, Amiel Sol, Arthur Nery, and Janine Teñoso, with two of the most respected names in the OPM industry, Ogie Alcasid and Concert Queen Pops Fernandez.

Also joining the lineup is singer-actress Ashtine Olviga, making the night even more special.

One of Rob Deniel’s most talked-about moments in 2025 was his reinterpretation of Ogie Alcasid’s OPM classic, "Nandito Ako" and "Ikaw Sana" which went viral across social media platforms.

The 22-year-old singer-songwriter admitted that he never expected the song to resonate so deeply with listeners which also earned praise from Ogie himself. 

The success of the track eventually led to a personal connection between Rob and the OPM legend.

Due to the fans' demand, Rob Deniel also released studio versions of "Nandito Ako" and "Ikaw Sana" on streaming platforms. allowing fans to enjoy the songs beyond the live performance. 

Both tracks are originally written by Ogie Alcasid, who is also set to appear as a special guest at Rob’s upcoming concert.

Rob Deniel officially entered the music industry in 2020 with his debut single, “Ulap.”  The song quickly became a major hit, solidifying his status as one of the rising talents in the OPM scene.

He is also known for his romantic and relatable tracks such as RomCom, Miss Miss, and Sinta, several of which have been featured in films, including Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2, 100 Daang Awit Para Kay Stelle, and Dearly Beloved, according to the data from entertainment and music website Genius.

As the concert date approaches, Rob continues to update and invite his supporters and listeners through regular updates and heartfelt messages on social media.  

He described the upcoming show as his dream concert, making the event not just a performance but a milestone in his growing music career.
