Colombian singer Shakira performed to a massive crowd at Rio’s Copacabana Beach on Saturday (May 2), as part of her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran”, or Women No Longer Cry, world tour, named after her 2024 album.

The free concert drew some 2 million people, according to media reports.

Ahead of the show, drones formed the image of a she-wolf, her nickname, as well as her silhouette.

In 2024, Madonna performed a free concert at Copacabana Beach in front of 1.6 million people. Lady Gaga followed in 2025, with official estimates of around 2 million attendees.
