Multi-talented artists Sheena Belarmino and Benedix Ramos are the latest addition to “The Notebook: The Musical,"joining actress and singer-songwriter Morissette Amon.

Theatre Group Asia (TGA) confirmed the casting of Belarmino and Ramos last Friday on its social media accounts, officially introducing them as part of the production. In another post on Instagram, TGA also showcased the duo’s singing abilities as they performed “Carry You Home.”

Belarmino, 20, will take on the role of Young Allie, while Ramos, 31, will portray Young Noah. The two are no strangers to working together in musical theater, having previously collaborated on “Tabing Ilog: The Musical,” “Next to Normal,” and “Bar Boys: The Musical.”

Ramos, who started out as a content creator before joining “Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season 10: Celebrity Edition,” recently made his theater debut in “Ang Huling El Bimbo: The Musical.” 

Belarmino, meanwhile, started her journey in the reality competition show “Dance Kids.” She placed fourth in both “Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids” and “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids Season 2.” She was also part of “ASAP’s New Gen Divas” and has starred in productions like “One More Chance: The Musical" and "Spring Awakening.”

Ramos expressed his excitement on Instagram, saying, “So honored to be portraying (young) NOAH! Alongside (young) ALLIE is my wonderful theater partner @itsmesheena15. Thank you, @theatregroupasia, for the trust. I’ll carry this home forever!”

Morissette, 29, is returning to the stage to play Middle Allie in the production, following her participation in "Camp Rock: The Musical" and "Chuva Choo Choo: The Mr. Kupido Musicale."

"The Notebook: The Musical" is a stage adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' 1996 novel. It was made into a film starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams in 2004.

The international premier of "The Notebook: The Musical" will be staged in September 2026 at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Circuit Makati, Philippines.
