Sighting alert: Are Jake Cuenca and Rabiya Mateo dating?

Actor Jake Cuenca and former beauty queen Rabiya Mateo were recently spotted walking and dining together at a restaurant in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, drawing attention across social media.

Photos of the pair first circulated on Reddit, sparking discussion among fans, though neither has publicly commented on the matter.

Both Jake, 38, and Rabiya, 29, are reported to be single. Jake’s last relationship was with actress-model Chie Filomeno, and he confirmed their breakup in October 2025. On the other hand, Rabiya was previously in a relationship with  actor Jeric Gonzales, which the actor recently confirmed ended amicably.

For now, the sighting continues to be a hot topic online, with many waiting to see if either Jake or Rabiya will address the situation.

Cuenca is a seasoned actor known for his work in both television and film. 

He currently appears in the thriller series What Lies Beneath. He also previously played a key role in FPJ’s Batang Quiapo and in 2025 film The Delivery Rider. 

Meanwhile, Mateo gained prominence after winning Miss Universe Philippines 2020 and has since built a career as an actress, host, and model. She remains active in lifestyle projects and has also developed her personal brand through beauty and wellness ventures. 

Recently, she reportedly scored 741 on the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT), placing her among the top 1% of examinees in the Philippines. Rabiya announced shortly after that she will focus on her medical studies and take a step back from the entertainment industry.
