Will wedding bells ring? Bea Alonzo, Vincent Co listed in Church marriage banns

Bea Alonzo and Vincent Co may be preparing to tie the knot after their marriage banns were announced during Mass at St. Peter the Apostle Parish Manila on March 8.

The couple’s names appeared as part of the parish announcements. In Catholic tradition, marriage banns  inform parishioners that a couple intends to marry and to give the community an opportunity to raise any canonical concerns. 

The commentator read, “Dear parishioners, we are announcing the marriage banns of the proposed marriage of Ferdinand Vincent Pe Co, 44 years old, son of Lucio L. Co and Susan Sy Pe, who will be married to Phylbert Angelli Escalante Ranollo, 38. Please inform the parish priest Rev. Fr. Jomar J. Burgos, LRMS, if you know of any impediment to this marriage."

The names announced in the church banns are the legal, full names of Bea and Vincent. The notice also indicated that the couple listed the same address in an area of Paco, Manila. Despite the church announcement, neither Bea nor Vicent has publicly confirmed wedding plans.

The Kapuso actress first acknowledged in August 2025 that she was dating the Puregold president, after months of being spotted together at events linked to the supermarket chain.

A month after, engagement rumors circulated, but Bea declined to elaborate, emphasizing her preference to keep her relationship private.

She also addressed speculation in October 2025 that she was pregnant, firmly denying the claims and explaining that the photos fueling the rumors were simply taken from an unflattering angle.

Bea Alonzo, 38, is a Filipina actress, philanthropist, and entrepreneur often referred to as one of the “Movie Queens” of her generation. She entered show business in the early 2000s and became known for television series and films like Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay and One More Chance. 

Bea is gearing up for her next Kapuso project, GMA’s upcoming series Whispers From Heaven as she celebrates her 25th year in showbiz.

Over the years, she has been in relationships with Filipino actors Zanjoe Marudo, Gerald Anderson, and Dominic Roque.

Bea has also diversified into business and investments. She reportedly invested in an apartment in Madrid, Spain, which granted her permanent residency in the country. She also owns a 16-hectare farm and runs a travel and lifestyle brand.

Meanwhile, Ferdinand “Vincent” Pe Co, 45, is the son of businessman Lucio L. Co, the longtime chairman of a leading supermarket chain in the Philippines from its founding in 1998 until 2022.

 Vincent’s mother, Susan Sy, served as vice chairman from 1998 to 2023 before becoming the company’s chairman. Aside from taking on a presidential role in their supermarket chain business, Vincent also holds leadership positions as chairman and president in several other family-owned businesses.
