American actress and singer Zendaya recently addressed the viral AI-generated wedding photos of her and  and Spider-Man star Tom Holland during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday, March 16.

While promoting her new film The Drama, Zendaya had some fun with the rumors that had been circulating. When host and comedian Kimmel brought up the headlines that claimed she had already married Holland, Zendaya, 29, smiled and responded, “Really? I haven’t seen any of that!

"And many people have been fooled by them," she added. Zendaya shared that she had been approached by people while out and about, with many complimenting her, "Your wedding photos are gorgeous." She had to gently break the news to them, "Babe, they're AI. They're not real."

She mentioned she had to clarify the rumors more times than she could count, with even some people in her own life believing it.

While she didn't confirm nor deny the rumors of her marriage, Zendaya decided to have a little fun. During the interview, she showed a video, which she said was "to just clear the confusion."

The clip, which initially looked like a dreamy wedding scene, turned out to be a scene from The Drama, her upcoming movie with actor Robert Pattinson. The video had Holland’s face onto Robert Pattinson’s body. Kimmel laughed and pointed out how “crudely pasted Tom's head over Robert's head," but Zendaya insisted "that was real footage."

Earlier in March, The Hollywood Reporter  said that Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach, made the remark on Access Hollywood that the wedding had already happened and people had missed it. Zendaya did not give a direct answer, but she did not shut down the conversation either.

Zendaya continues to debunk the fake wedding photos while leaving enough mystery to keep fans intrigued.
