Spanish airline Iberia Express cancelled a flight to Tel Aviv scheduled for Saturday at 1700 local time after US and Israel launched a strike in Iran, a company spokesperson told Reuters.


Iberia Express is the low-cost airline of the Iberia Group IBLA.MC. A spokesperson from the group also confirmed Doha's airspace has been closed and a flight from Madrid had to turn around.


At present, cancellations only extend to Saturday, but the company will provide further updates at a later date, it said.
