CSC: Examinees from Region VII and NCR top March 8 civil service exams

The Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC) has released the results of the March 8, 2026 examinations in both the professional and sub-professional categories.

The Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC) has released the results of the March 8, 2026 examinations in both the professional and sub-professional categories.


In a news release, the CSC said the topnotchers are:

  • Professional Level: Jannah Arumpac Masbud of Region XII; Rating: 98.60, and

  • Subprofessional Level: Ernesto Gabriel Valderrama Serrano of the National Capital Region (NCR), Rating: 95.49.


According to the PRC, successful examinees in the Professional Level are conferred Career Service Professional Eligibility.


This qualifies individuals for permanent appointment to both first-level (clerical) and second-level (technical) positions within the career service, excluding roles that require professional licensure or are governed by special laws.


On the other hand, Subprofessional Eligibility qualifies passers for first-level positions in the career service.


TOPNOTCHERS


The PRC said the following examinees passed the Professional Level aside from topnotcher Masbud:

  • Jholene Ylysa Ladores Salimbot (NCR) with 97.77;

  • Lemuel Espiritu Samson (Region XI) with 97.64;

  • Tyrone Robert Cruzata Garcia (NCR) with 97.53;

  • Jeorge Antoinette Cabusao Marucot (NCR) with 97.52;

  • Laurence Anthony Navarro Mallari (NCR) with 97.38;

  • Alexander Clinton Liu Españo (NCR) with 97.25;

  • Therese Jan Esman Mangussad (NCR) with 97.25;

  • Patrick Jeanne Josef Tiongson (Region IV) with 97.23; and

  • Jenelyn Ann Festejo Carpio (NCR) with 97.09.



On the other hand, for the subprofessional category, the topnothers aside from Serrano are:

  • Justine Raine Valencia David (Region III), with a rating of 95.31;

  • Carlo Miguel Nery Cerrada (NCR) with 95.20;

  • Janette Alexandra Falcatan Toribio (Region IX) with 95.16;

  • Carlo Aragon Marientes (NCR) with 95.08;

  • Gladys Ubalde Quitain (Region IV) with 95.06;

  • Christian Villarin Dela Peña (Region IV) with 95.00;

  • Lauren Anne Charmagne Lara De La Cruz (Region III) with 94.94;

  • Sophia Yvonne Simbol Baniago (NCR) with 94.77; and

  • MJ Cruz Centeno (Region III) with 94.76.
