The UAE welcomed the New Year with spectacular fireworks and drone displays across multiple cities on Wednesday, December 31.


In Dubai, the iconic Burj Khalifa was illuminated in celebration, accompanied by dazzling fireworks and water fountain displays in the surrounding area.


Abu Dhabi treated spectators to a combination of fireworks and a drone show that created a unique countdown visual in the night sky.


In Ras Al Khaimah, drones lit up the night with an impressive display, including a large replica of a person towering over the coastal city, ahead of midnight.
