An Iranian missile attack on Israel left damages and several residents lightly wounded near Tel Aviv on Friday (March 6), a police officer told Reuters at the incident site.
Iranian missile fire into Israel renewed on Friday morning and Hezbollah in Lebanon continued to launch rockets into communities near the country's northern border, while Israel pounded Beirut in a major expansion of the war against Iran it began a week ago alongside the United States.
In an apparent escalation of his own war aims, U.S. President Donald Trump demanded the right to help choose Iran's next supreme leader, successor to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, killed by Israeli bombs on the war's first day.
