Senator Mark Villar recently underscored the vital role of young Filipinos in nation-building through the Mark Villar Leadership Awards. 

This program recognizes graduating students nationwide who have demonstrated exemplary leadership, responsibility, and service within their respective schools.

“Patuloy nating binibigyang-pugay ang sipag, tiyaga, dedikasyon, at pamumuno ng ating mga lider-estudyante na nagtapos ngayong taon. Sila ang magsisilbing haligi ng ating kinabukasan at tunay na pag-asa ng bayan,” Villar said.

He praised the students' determination and ability to rise above challenges while remaining committed to their education, adding that their perseverance serves as an example for other Filipino learners.

“Ang tagumpay ng ating mga mag-aaral mula sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa ay patunay ng kanilang lakas ng loob at pagsusumikap. Nararapat lamang na sila ay ating kilalanin at patuloy na suportahan,” he added.

The senator has expressed his commitment to supporting and empowering the youth. 

Through programs that promote both leadership and academic achievement, Villar said he hopes that deserving students from all backgrounds receive the recognition they deserve.
