PARIS — Belgian cyclist Wout van Aert claimed victory in the prestigious Paris-Roubaix classic on Sunday, completing the grueling 258km race from Compiègne in a stunning display of speed and endurance.


Van Aert outpaced Slovenia’s Tadej Pogacar, the reigning world champion, in the final sprint to secure the win. Fellow Belgian Jasper Stuyven finished in third place, rounding out the podium.


This victory marks another milestone in Van Aert’s career, further solidifying his reputation as one of cycling’s elite competitors.
