NBA: Jaylen Brown helps Celtics snap Hornets' win streak at 4
Jaylen Brown scored 35 points to lead the Boston Celtics past the Charlotte Hornets 113-102, extending Boston's winning streak to four games. LeMelo Ball had 36 points for Charlotte but was held scoreless in the fourth quarter.

Jaylen Brown scored 35 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Boston Celtics to a 113-102 victory over the visiting Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday night.
Boston (54-25) also got 23 points from Jayson Tatum, while Neemias Queta, Derrick White, and Payton Pritchard each added 12. The Celtics have now won four straight games and 11 of their last 13.
LeMelo Ball led Charlotte with 36 points but was held scoreless in the fourth quarter as the Hornets (43-37) managed just 15 points in the final period. Brandon Miller contributed 20 points for Charlotte, ending the team’s four-game winning streak. Boston won two of the three regular-season matchups with the Hornets.
Charlotte’s Coby White did not play due to left groin soreness. White, acquired from Chicago in February, is averaging 15.7 points per game in 19 appearances for Charlotte.
The game was tied 18-18 with 5:25 remaining in the first quarter before the Hornets closed the period on a 13-2 run to lead 31-20. Boston rallied to take a 51-49 lead late in the second quarter on a Jordan Walsh 3-pointer, but Charlotte held a 61-55 advantage at halftime. Ball scored 23 of his 36 points in the first half, shooting 41.9% from three-point range (13 of 31).
Boston regained the lead 75-74 on a Walsh layup with 6:09 remaining in the third, but Charlotte responded with 10 of the next 12 points. The Celtics scored the final 10 points of the quarter to lead 90-87 heading into the fourth.
A 10-0 run in the fourth gave Boston a 106-94 lead with 5:48 left, and the Celtics maintained an eight-point or larger lead for the remainder of the game. Charlotte shot just 16.7% from three-point range (3 of 18) in the second half.
