Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic were unanimous selections to the 2025-26 All-NBA First Team, the league announced Sunday night.
Both stars received all 100 first-team votes from a media panel, earning the maximum 500 points each.
Victor Wembanyama narrowly missed unanimous status after receiving one second-team vote, finishing with 498 points. Luka Doncic and Cade Cunningham rounded out the First Team selections.
Gilgeous-Alexander, who captured his second consecutive NBA Most Valuable Player award earlier this month, earned First Team honors for the fourth straight season. The Thunder star averaged 31.1 points, a career-high 6.6 assists, and 4.3 rebounds while shooting 55.3 percent from the field during the regular season.
Jokic, a three-time MVP, secured his sixth All-NBA First Team selection after averaging 27.7 points, a league-leading 12.9 rebounds, and a career-best 10.7 assists per game. He joined Russell Westbrook as the only players in NBA history to average a triple-double in multiple seasons.
Wembanyama earned his first career First Team selection after finishing third in MVP voting and winning the Defensive Player of the Year award unanimously. The Spurs standout averaged career highs of 25.0 points and 11.5 rebounds while leading the league with 3.1 blocks per game.
Doncic and Cunningham were both granted appeals after falling one game short of the NBA’s 65-game eligibility requirement for postseason awards. Doncic missed time following the birth of his daughter and later suffered a hamstring injury, while Cunningham was sidelined for 11 games because of a collapsed lung.
Doncic led the NBA in scoring with 33.5 points per game, marking the second scoring title of his career. He also averaged 8.3 assists and 7.7 rebounds while setting a Lakers franchise record with 254 made 3-pointers. It marked his sixth career First Team selection and his first since joining the Lakers.
Cunningham played a key role in leading Detroit to the best regular-season record in the Eastern Conference. He averaged 23.9 points, a career-best 9.9 assists, and 5.5 rebounds to earn his first All-NBA First Team selection.
The All-NBA Second Team featured Jaylen Brown, Kawhi Leonard, Donovan Mitchell, Kevin Durant, and Jalen Brunson.
Named to the Third Team were Tyrese Maxey, Jamal Murray, Jalen Johnson, Jalen Duren, and Chet Holmgren.
Among the notable players who missed the cut were Deni Avdija and Karl-Anthony Towns.
Several stars were ineligible for consideration after failing to meet the NBA’s 65-game requirement, including LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Anthony Edwards, and Stephen Curry. -Field Level Media/Reuters
