Nikita Kucherov scored the game-winning goal in a shootout as the Tampa Bay Lightning earned their franchise-record-tying 11th straight victory, edging the host Pittsburgh Penguins 2-1 on Tuesday night.

Although Kucherov’s 10-game point streak came to an end, he secured the win after Tampa Bay’s Gage Goncalves and Pittsburgh’s Egor Chinakhov each scored in the shootout. Tampa Bay matched the club-record streak first set during the 2019-20 season.

J.J. Moser added a third-period goal for the Lightning, while goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy earned his eighth straight win with 26 saves.
