Tyrrell Hatton out of LIV Golf Korea following birth of first child

Englishman Tyrrell Hatton will not compete in this week’s LIV Golf Korea after he and his wife, Emily, welcomed their first child last week, his LIV Golf team announced on Monday.

German Max Rottluff, 33, will replace Hatton in the Legion XIII lineup, making his LIV Golf debut in the event.

Hatton, 34, is expected to return next week for LIV Golf Andalucía at Real Club Valderrama in Sotogrande, Spain.

The English golfer has been in strong form this season, recording four top-10 finishes in 10 starts, including a tie for third at The Masters in April. That result marked his best finish in a major championship to date.

Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII squad this week will feature Rahm alongside Tom McKibbin, Caleb Surratt, and Rottluff.
