Displaced Lebanese families flashed victory signs from car windows as they crossed back into southern Lebanon’s Qasmiyeh area on Thursday (April 17), hours after a ceasefire with Israel took effect. Footage shows vehicles piled high with belongings driving over a dirt path across a creek, while excavators worked to clear roads. More than 1.2 million people have been displaced since fighting began in March.
