Dating rumors flare up after Kathryn Bernardo follows Mark Alcala on Instagram

Kathryn Bernardo has stoked the embers of social media as the actress followed Lucena City Mayor Mark Alcala on Instagram.

Fans immediately reacted since Mayor Alcala, 30, has been following Kathryn, 29,  for several months now, which fueled speculation about a possible romantic relationship between the two.

The rumors swirled on Monday when Bernardo both followed Mayor Alcala and his sister, Dawn Alcala. Social media users were quick to notice the interactions, sparking discussions about Kathryn’s personal life.

The timing comes shortly after the ‘Box Office Queen’ addressed her fans during a recent brand event, thanking them for respecting the choices she makes in her private life.

Although neither Kathryn nor Alcala has confirmed any romantic involvement, the two have been spotted together on multiple occasions including a recent dinner in Rockwell, Makati, further feeding rumors about them.

Fans have been particularly attentive to their appearances together, analyzing every possible clue for signs of romance.
