Filipino actress and singer Ashtine Olviga is set to show a new side of her acting in the upcoming anthology series Viva One Originals: ASHTINE.

The series will feature the rising star playing different characters in four standalone episodes, each with a distinct genre.

New episodes will be released weekly, highlighting Ashtine’s versatility as she explores comedy, romance, horror, and drama.

In a previous interview, Ashtine admitted she initially had doubts when the project was first proposed to her.

“Kaya ko ba gawin ‘to? Hindi, kaya ko gawin ‘yan!”

In the comedy episode Who’s The Boss? Ashtine teams up with comedian Rufa Mae Quinto. The episode promises plenty of fun and comedic moments between the two actresses.

For the romantic episode My Melody, Ashtine stars alongside singer Rob Deniel and South Korean actor and singer Lee Dae Won.

Directed by actor and filmmaker Fifth Solomon, the story blends music and romance, adding another acting credit to Deniel’s growing list of projects.

In the horror episode Balik Eskwela, Ashtine will share the screen with Filipino actors Marco Gumabao and Sara Joe. This horror-themed episode will focus on school life and friendships.

Meanwhile, the drama episode Bahay-bahayan features Ashtine alongside award-winning veteran actress Claudine Barretto. The story explores emotional family relationships and deeper personal conflicts.

Before pursuing acting, Ashtine, 26, was a member of the P-pop girl group LITZ.

She gained wider recognition as a young actress in the hit series Ang Mutya ng Section E, where audiences were drawn to her on-screen chemistry with Andres Muhlach, 24.

The pair later became a recognized loveteam, known as AshDres. Adapted from a popular Wattpad story, the romantic-comedy series helped cement her reputation as one of the industry’s promising young stars, earning her the nickname “The Nation’s Mutya.”

Ashtine has also appeared in several films, including Sunny and Minamahal. Her most recent project, Manila's Finest, an entry in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), further elevated her profile, with many viewers noting it as one of her standout performances.

ASHTINE will premiere on March 13 on Viva One.
