Fans of Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz had a field day when a photo of them together in a film company's office circulated online.

In what seems to be a confirmation of a new movie together, Viva Artists Agency (VAA) posted on its Instagram account photos of the tandem in the Viva office, captioned: "LOOK: Our #AshLloyd hearts. @justsarahgph and John Lloyd Cruz in a new movie together? YES!! #SOON.”

Sarah also shared photos with John Lloyd, adding clock and video camera emojis, hinting at a possible new movie.

Buzz about a reunion movie started three years ago when VAA  confirmed that Sarah and John Lloyd would do another movie project. Every year,  fans  waited for news about the movie in vain.

Fans remained eager, sharing throwback clips and photos, hoping that their movie project would indeed see the ligh of day.

Although both have real-life partners, Sarah married to actor Matteo Guidicelli, and John Lloyd in a relationship with visual artist Isabel Santos, their fans have remained loyal to their on-screen personas.

The on-screen loveteam of Sarah and John Lloyd,  also known as AshLloyd, first won the hearts of Filipino fans with hit romantic films like A Very Special Love (2008), You Changed My Life (2009), and It Takes a Man and a Woman (2013), all produced by Star Cinema and Viva Films.

Sarah, 37 and John Lloyd, 42, reunited in Finally Found Someone in 2017. John Lloyd and Sarah's box-office draw rank them among the most successful  love teams in Philippine film history.
