After more than four years, the members of the P-pop group CALISTA has officially ended their management partnership with Merlion Entertainment, becoming independent artists as the contract formally concluded on June 1.

The agency announced on Thursday, June 4, the end of their partnership through an official statement posted on social media. It reads, "As of June 1, 2026, the management partnership between Merlion Entertainment and the members formerly known as CALISTA has officially concluded.

"We are grateful for the memories, and milestones we shared together throughout the years. We sincerely thank Anne Tenorio, Dain Leones, Denise Pello, and Elle Pascual for their dedication. As they embark on a new chapter, we wish them nothing but success, growth, and happiness in all their future endeavors."

As of this writing, the members have not yet signed with a new entertainment agency. According to the members' latest social media updates, they are currently in Thailand to attend the Thailand International LGBTQ+ Film Festival (TILFF) 2026 red carpet and opening ceremony.

Wide International, the organization that also announced the members' participation in the event, posted about an upcoming P-pop contract signing in Thailand scheduled for June 5, which sparked online discussions and fan speculation about possible involvement from the former CALISTA members. However, no official confirmation has been made.

CALISTA originally debuted in 2022 as a six-member group with their single “Race Car.” The lineup later transitioned into a quartet following the departures of Laiza, who left to focus on her studies, and Olive May, who pursued a solo career under GMA Sparkle.

As a four-member band consisting of Anne, Dain, Denise, and Elle, the group continued to grow musically and reached a major milestone with the release of their debut EP FOUR in early 2025. The project featured tracks such as “Alas Dose,” “'Wag Na,” and their upbeat rendition of “Bongga Ka Day.”

Each member has also been developing their social media presence as individuals. Anne Tenorio, CALISTA's former leader, regularly shares personal updates and career reflections through her X and TikTok channel.

Dain Leones and Elle Pascual maintain a strong presence on TikTok, where they frequently post dance clips, trending content, and lifestyle vlogs for their followers.

Denise Pello has also gained significant individual recognition this year after joining as a contestant on GMA’s reality dance competition “Stars on the Floor 2026.”
