Netflix unveils the future: Teyana Taylor predicts futures at Grand Central's interactive tarot booth

Netflix is sharing its future with an interactive experience at New York's Grand Central Terminal.

    Newly minted Golden Globe winner Teyana Taylor serves as the tarot card reader inside a 12-foot booth. The animatronic version of Taylor offers personalized readings to fans curious about their future.

    Visitors to the booth learn more about new shows and movies coming to the streaming network in 2026. "She said that I was the connector. So I will be like the one that kind of brings people together – bring my friends together. Which I really liked because when she asked for my intentions, I said that I wanted to be a better friend this year and show up for people more. So I feel like that was an optimistic result. And so she gave me some great shows to watch, like the new Sesame Street, so I'm very excited for that," said participant Samantha Pilcher.

    Participants are gifted with Netflix title-inspired tarot cards that reveal their future. The installation is part of the company's "What's Next" campaign, which highlights its biggest titles for 2026. The campaign features Cillian Murphy, Millie Bobby Brown, Omar Sy, Lily Collins, Elmo, and other Netflix stars.

    Taylor was named best supporting actress in a motion picture for her role in "One Battle After Another" at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 11.
