A driver speaks to federal agents where he said he was unable to follow instructions to move his car due to not being able to see as a result of a riot control substance, following an incident where another driver's car was hit by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, after an ICE agent fatally shot Renee Nicole Good, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S., January 12, 2026.

An anti-ICE protester was arrested on Monday (January 12) during a demonstration outside a federal building in Minneapolis.
Reuters video showed agents forcing the protester to the snow-covered ground to make an arrest as protesters shouted at the officers.
Tension erupted in Minnesota last week when a federal immigration officer shot and killed Renee Good, a 37-year-old mother of three who was observing the federal law enforcement action. U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem accused Good of domestic terrorism, saying she was attempting to ram the officer with her vehicle, while critics of the Trump administration have staged a series of protests to denounce the shooting as unjustified.
Minnesota officials have pointed to bystander video they say showed Good's vehicle turning away from the agent as he fired.
Noem and other U.S. officials have maintained that the agent acted in self-defense because Good, a volunteer in a community network that monitors and records ICE operations in Minneapolis, drove forward in the direction of the agent who then shot her, after another agent had approached the driver's side and told her to get out of the car.
